My approach is to produce editorial copy that is concise and easy to read without simplifying complex issues or compromising on good written style. In addition to writing and editing, I have extensive experience of commissioning and project management, working within in-house teams. This means I have a good knowledge of the entire publishing process and an insider's knowledge of what clients require from their freelance support.

As well as using this knowledge in my own editorial work, I also communicate it to others through my training and professionalism activities.

I have more than ten years’ editorial experience. My degree is in social anthropology from Goldsmiths, University of London and my areas of special interest are social, health and environmental issues, although I also tackle work on a wide range of other topics.
